Switch Bump Shape
D-shaped bumps (Holy Panda) give a sharp, snappy event; rounded bumps (Boba U4T) a smoother, deeper one. Switch choice is 70% of the sound on a tactile build.
Sound-Tuned Series
A bump at every actuation.
You feel the key engage before it bottoms out. Tactile switches are for people who like feedback with every press.

How Tactile Works
Impact: Critical
D-shaped bumps (Holy Panda) give a sharp, snappy event; rounded bumps (Boba U4T) a smoother, deeper one. Switch choice is 70% of the sound on a tactile build.
Impact: High
Gasket mount gives a softer, rounder bottom-out; top mount a sharper, more contrasted two-beat. Tray mount flattens both beats into one mushy event — avoid.
Impact: High
Medium foam — plate foam plus a thin case foam — keeps both beats clearly defined without ringing or hollowness. The hardest tuning balance in keyboard sound.
Impact: Medium
Lube the stem sliders only, never the legs near the bump. Lubing the bump smooths away the very tactility you wanted.

Tactile comes from a defined switch bump paired with a controlled bottom-out, giving every keystroke two distinct events — no modifications needed.

A snappy 46gf tactile bump on POM+PTFE stems — the PC top and PA66 bottom housings keep the two-beat report clean and rattle-free.
Ultra-light 35gf actuation with a crisp tactile bump — noise-dampened and pre-lubed, turning the sharp tactile click into a deep, quiet pulse.
A crisp, medium-strength tactile bump — 2.2mm pre-travel into a 55gf bottom-out on a 20.5mm single-stage spring. Clean, precise, and free of the mushy bottom.
A similar tactile sensation to the MX Blue but a little quieter — the office-classic brown bump, in the set that defined tactile typing.
