Dual Feedback
The click mechanism also creates a physical bump you feel at actuation. Audible click plus physical bump — dual feedback through two channels at once.
Efficiency Unlock
The click happens before full key travel, so the key registers partway down. Experienced typists use this to type faster, lifting off as soon as they feel the click.
