About Cookies and Other Technologies
This Cookie Policy explains how EPOMAKER ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They help the site remember your actions and preferences (such as login, cart contents, language, and region) so you do not have to re-enter them on every page. Similar technologies — pixels, local storage, and SDKs — serve comparable purposes, and we refer to all of them as "cookies" in this policy.
How we use cookies
We use cookies to keep the store working (cart, checkout, and account sessions), to remember your preferences, to measure how the site is used so we can improve it, and — with your consent where required — to make advertising more relevant.
Categories of cookies we use
| Category | Purpose | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required for the store to function: keeping your cart, completing checkout, securing your session, and preventing fraud. These cannot be switched off. | Shopify session and cart cookies (e.g. _shopify_s, cart, secure_customer_sig), payment-provider cookies during checkout. |
| Functional | Remember choices you make — language, region and currency, recently viewed products, wishlist — and power on-site features such as product reviews and live chat. | Localization preferences, recently-viewed storage, review and chat widget cookies. |
| Analytics | Help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular, how people arrive, and where they run into problems — so we can improve the experience. Data is aggregated wherever possible. | Shopify analytics, Google Analytics (e.g. _ga, _gid). |
| Advertising | Used by us and our advertising partners to show you relevant ads and measure campaign performance, including on other websites. Only set with your consent where the law requires it. | Google Ads / DoubleClick, social-media pixels, affiliate-program cookies. |
How long do cookies last?
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period — from a few hours up to about 13 months depending on the cookie — or until you delete them.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by services we use on the site rather than by us, including our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment providers, analytics providers, review and chat tools, shipping-protection and affiliate services, and advertising networks. These providers act under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
Your choices
- Consent banner: where required by law, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies when you first visit. You can change your decision at any time by clearing your cookies and revisiting the site.
- Browser settings: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may break the cart and checkout.
- Analytics and ads opt-outs: you can opt out of Google Analytics via its browser add-on and manage ad personalization at Google Ads Settings and Your Online Choices.
- Do Not Track / GPC: where legally required, we honor recognized opt-out signals sent by your browser.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as our site and the services we use evolve. The latest version will always be published on this page.
