Innovative Shallow Gasket-Mounted & Bottom Foam

To reach a top typing experience, we have adopted a creative Shallow Gasket design, which is the first innovative Shallow Gasket structure around the world that comes with an all-in-one silicone pad. Apart from eliminating the traditional design's drawback of lacking support on the main typing area, the Shallow Gasket silicone pad can cushion the shock under every keystroke by being inserted in between the PCB board and the plate. The DIY kit also contain a foam at the bottom layer to reduce hallow sounds, as well as enhancing the feeling of typing stokes.

Split Spacebar Module and Fully Programmable

Just like GK series kit, GK96 Lite Gasket DIY kit also includes an extra split spacebar module (2.75U/2.25U/1.25U) with which you can make it based on your own typing habit. With the software, you have more than 6 driver settings. Simply download the software and you will be able to program the backlight and macro settings. Built-in flash memory enables you to save the setting at offline mode. No worries of losing it.

Bluetooth 5.1, 4000mAh Battery with Various Cases and Plates Availablem

Adopting the latest Bluetooth technology, you can connect up to 3 devices at the same time, simply press FN+1/2/3 to exchange between devices. The Gasket Lite GK96 DIY kit is equipped with different cases for different needs. The lite gasket GK96 provides two options: general plastic and CNC aluminium cases with different plates. Now you can start to custom your own 96% keyboard!

    Customer Reviews

    Based on 2 reviews
Two for the product. One for the buying experience.

Not as described on this product page, the GK96S doesn't have split spacebar function even though it is a "steel-plate" kit. The bottom three spacebar keys can't be recognized by the computer or its software itself.

I had double checked the split spacebar thing with the customer support before I bought it on sarcastic April 1. I received it at the end of April. Then I emailed them for 10 times and was asked to provide the proofs and videos for replacement. I did one by one followed their words. They even asked me to upload the videos on Youtube. Oops, I AM JUST A CUSTOMER, NOT A YOUTUBER.

They only reimbursed me the replacement shipping fee for 15% of the price, even though it's NOT the customer's fault. But a retail customer can't mail a 2-pound package by any postal service at that low price!

Now I'm still waiting for my replacement that nobody knows when the factory could start to manufact. But I'm still looking forward to receive it - this legendary months-long waiting keyboard kit. It's white, neat, and SHOULD have split spacebars. You do what you said.

Thank you for leaving a review here.

We are so sorry that you have not received the split spacebars from package.

Our support keeps following your package. We will send you updates once we receive any.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

    Kind regards,
    Epomaker Team

    Not exactly as expected

Got the plastic version with a steel plate. Be aware that this version is a Skyloong GK96 lite. The case has a square profile, not rounded like some of the pictures. The gasket mount they describe is more like a tray mount with a full size silicone pad between the plate and pcb. There are little rubber washers under the screws as well. The split spacebar appears to only be in the aluminum version, mine did not have this option even though it had a steel plate. Mine sounds pretty good with Gateron ks-9's. It's a nice keyboard, just not quite what I was expecting
