6063 Aluminum Case with Mirror PVD Back Piece

The Tide 65 and Tide 75 are housed in a 6063 aluminum case, available with electrophoretic (Blue) or anodized (Black/Purple/Pink) finishes. These finishes provide resistance to daily wear and tear and improve durability for long-term use. Additionally, a Mirror PVD back piece featuring the EPOMAKER logo enhances aesthetics in a subtle yet meaningful way. Although it's positioned on the back of the keyboard and not visible while typing, we believe every detail matters. The keyboards also feature double-shot side-print OEM profile keycaps with shine-through legends for a distinctive appearance.

FR4 Plate and Comprehensive Foam Kit

The use of an FR4 plate—a high-density fiber material that strikes a balance between the rigidity of an aluminum plate and the flexibility of a PC plate—ensures a solid yet less harsh typing experience. This material choice provides a balanced typing experience. To further refine the acoustic performance, we incorporate five layers of sound-dampening materials: Poron pcb-plate foam, IXPE switch foam, PET noise cancellation pad, Poron case foam, and PET insulation pad. These layers work together to enhance the sound, reduce vibration and rattle, and eliminate metal pinging.

Tide75

I’ve been using this mechanical keyboard for a few days now, and overall, I’m really impressed. The sound profile leans more towards the clackier side, but if you prefer a deeper "thock" sound, you can achieve that by removing the PET sheet and swapping in thicker PBT keycaps.

The linear switches are a standout feature, delivering a satisfyingly creamy sound. The aluminum case, while a bit heavy, adds a premium feel and enhances the overall build quality.

However, there are two areas where the keyboard could be improved. First, the stock keycaps are thin and unattractive, which is the main reason I’m giving it a 4/5 rating. Second, it would be great to have more options for switches when purchasing.

Despite these minor drawbacks, this keyboard is a solid choice for anyone looking for quality and customizability.

Epomaker Tide 75 review (repost of my review on discord)

The Epomaker Tide 75 is a 75% exploded keyboard with wired and wireless modes made from 6063 aluminum with 4 color optios, electrophoretic blue, anodized purple, anodized pink, and anodized black, it also has a flex cut fr4 plate and PCB.

It comes with Epomaker lemon switches which are 5 pin linear switches with a pa66 housing and a POM stem a 40g actuation force, 1,6mm of pre travel and 3,5mm of total travel.

The keycaps are the biggest downside of the keyboard with about 1-1,5mm thickness legends on the side, almost no texture and in the same color as the case, i recommend changing them.

The aluminum case with the mirror badge on the back has a good quality not much ping and at least the blue e-coating my sample has is really nice.

The wireless latency is OK, the range isn’t that high (about 4 meters with the 2,4Ghz dongle) but the connection is stable.

The VIA (web-)software and open source firmware make the Tide75 very customizable and that with basically any device.
