Good beginner split keyboard

Purchased as my first mechanical keyboard for ergonomic reasons. Overall a good split keyboard for keyboard beginners, would recommend.
Some notes:
- Does not come with a dedicated slot to carry the USB dongle.
- Switches at the split are a little hard to pull out because of the tight case, which is needed to be able to combine the two halves into a standard layout. Still manageable, though.
- Keyboard is a little heavy and inconvenient to move around in two parts.
- Battery lasts approx. 1wk (40h of use) on Bluetooth and at the lowest backlight level.
- The provided keycaps and switches (I got Linear Wisteria switches) generally feel good and on the "thonkier" side.

The best keyboard i ever had

I always wanted to try a split keyboard due to shoulder pain.
But i wanted to still be able to type on a regular keyboard + be able to game easily - so a "fully ergonomic" keyboard was not an option for me.
Then i discovered "regular" keyboards that could be spilt in half, but when they were connected together - they still had some space between the two halfs...

THEN i saw split 65, qmk reprogrammable(VIA compatable), split keyboard without the space between the halfs, IT EVEN HAS A ****.
It contained everything i was looking for, so after reading some reviews - i decided that that keyboard is perfect for me.

I have used the keyboard for 60 days, and im fully satisfied so far. The flamingo switches are smooth, also i really love the default keykaps - it looks clean and unique.

Perfect beginner split keyboard

Just want I was looking for. Wanted a split keyboard that can still be pushed together and look like a standard keyboard. Hotswap is a must, as the switches that came with the keyboard is not to my liking.

My Honest Feedback on the EPOMAKER Split 65

Really impressed with the Split 65.
The layout is super comfortable, the sound is clean and satisfying, and performance is great across wired and wireless modes.
Overall, a solid keyboard that I’d confidently recommend.
