EPOMAKER x AULA F75

Aula = Awesome

Keyboards have come a long way since green screen days and the Aula 75 is one remarkable example. Being an IT director, I've never had much chance to use anything but some baseline Dell or HP keeb and so I bought a DAS Keyboard which turned out to be nothing but junk. So, my foray into fancy keyboards was a total let down until I decided to take another chance on Epomaker's offerings. The Aula 75 did not disappoint and love how smooth and comfortable it is and has a plastic cover to keep it clean. The only thing I have yet to improve on this kb is to get keycaps with very large shine-through characters on the tops. Typing in the dark is a thing for many of us and being able to see the key characters is paramount. Would it be too much to ask to invent keycaps with miniature displays that display the programmed character? This would be a game changer since keys could be remapped to anything without having to replace keycaps or labels. If it meant larger keys wouldn't bother me. Lastly, can you design a "master" grid layout keyboard that is able to have keys placed anywhere within a rectangle with remaining vacant key slots being covered with slot covers? This would allow users to design their own layouts physically and logically. It would diminish planned obsolescence and provide one system for multiple use cases. Maybe make three or four sizes to span the footprint requirements of any particular use.

This keyboard is awesome

I just didn't realise I use 'Home' key often enough that this form factor is not right for me. Nothing wront with the keyboard itself.
