The crisp sound of keystrokes echoed through the halls of Boston University's Questrom School of Business — this was no ordinary classroom, but the epicenter of an offline typing contest co-hosted by EPOMAKER and Boston University's Guerrilla Marketing Society (GMS). On the afternoon of November 21st (EST), this space transformed into a hub where keyboard enthusiasts, gamers, and digital creatives sparked connections.
Event at a Glance: Where Keystroke Speed Meets Campus Creativity
At the heart of the event was an intense Typing Competition. From 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (EST) on November 21st, students took turns testing their typing speed on various high-performance EPOMAKER mechanical keyboards, competing for the highest Words Per Minute (WPM) title. A live ranking board fueled friendly rivalry, filling the venue with focus and excitement.
Beyond the competition zone, we set up an Interactive Product Experience Area, showcasing six acclaimed keyboard models. From the classically designed RT series and the highly customizable TH99 to the futuristic Magcore65 Lite, every visitor could touch, press, and feel the unique tactile response of different switches and designs, discovering their perfect "weapon" of choice.
Why Boston University? Connecting with the Next Generation of Creators
We chose Boston University precisely for its vibrant, youthful energy and creativity. The campus boasts a thriving community of gamers, esports teams, and digital creatives, which aligns perfectly with EPOMAKER's core mission: to empower personalized setups, enhance productivity, and elevate leisure style.
Our collaboration with GMS was far more than a branding exercise. It was an immersive, hands-on learning experience. GMS members took the lead in every phase—from planning and on-ground execution to impact assessment—transforming marketing theory into a real, highly interactive brand activation.

Scene Highlights: Products, Passion, and Resonance
On-site, our six keyboard models were undisputed stars. From responsive boards built for performance to elegant designs that boost workflow efficiency, they catered to the full spectrum of student needs—spanning study, creation, and play.
The 200 branded keychains, 150 brochures, and 100 units each of two creatively designed stickers we prepared were widely favoured. These items were more than just giveaways; they served as emotional touchpoints connecting the brand with users, carrying EPOMAKER's philosophy from the event venue into every corner of campus life.
