What are the Improvements

Based on the GK61S, GK61XS has made several astonishing improvements such as increasing the battery capacity from 750mAh to 1900 mAh, adding the split spacebar module, the RGB lights extensions and so on. The PCB is equipped with hot swappable terminals, with which you could install the switches directly without soldering. It’s compatible with Cherry MX RGB switches, Kailh switches and Gateron RGB switches. You can easily build up your own mechanical keyboard with this kit.

Bluetooth 5.1 Wireless&Adjustable Sleep Mode (GK61XS ONLY)

Adopting the latest Bluetooth technology, you can connect up to 4 devices at the same time, simply press FN+Z/X/C to exchange between devices. Added adjustable time in sleep mode supports 10 levels adjustment from zero to 45 minutes. More user friendly and energy saving.

16.8 Million RGB Backlight

 RGB is such a cool element while playing games. GK61XS fully know your needs and thus this model is equipped with RGB SMD light. More than 16.8 million lights are available. Moreover, 6 bottom RGB lights and preset light bar connector provides more options and extensions. It’s more than a keyboard but also a fun toy.

3 Layers Fully Programmable

Custom is not just a word. We make it true. Coming with custom software for game macros and light effects. Three layers programmable ensures customizing your own keyboard without failure. Simply download the driver and you will be able to program the backlight and macro settings. Built-in flash memory can save the setting at offline mode, never afraid of losing it.

GK61XS is 60% layout compact mechanical keyboard. While minimize the size to be compact and lightweight, we never ignore the function. The chipset is 32 Bit MCU + 8M Flash on-board memory, and 3 pieces independent 256*256*256 RGB color management chip.

User Defined Mode
  • Press FN+W, 1 white light will turn on, and then you are in onboard layer-1 to customize your keyboard; press FN+W again to back to normal keyboard
    • Mac OS Mode
  • Press FN+E, 2 white light will turn on and then you are in onboard layer-2, Mac OS keyboard mode, press FN+E again to back to normal keyboard
    • FNX Adjustable Function Define Mode
  • Press FN+R, 3 white light will turn on, and then you are in onboard layer-3 to customize your keyboard; press FN+R again to back to normal keyboard

    Great keyboard for the price

    After trying various budget boards I’d say this is the best as well as better than all high end “gamer” keyboard, it comes with 5 pin sockets so you don’t have to mutilate the legs of your switches aswell as a comfortable typing angle and nice looking keycaps even though they’re not the highest quality keycaps and the sound is pretty good overall the cons to the board are that taking the pcb out is extremely annoying and the top and bottom row of switches are difficult to take out because of the case and bad software , besides that I do recommend this board to people who are looking for a cheap board or people wanting to get into custom keyboard building
