TKL keyboards always have a role to play in the mechanical keyboard world. With lots of requests for TKLs, we continue the EP series and thus launch the EP87! For this model, it stays the traditional TKL layout which skips the numpad on the right side, while the connectivity, keycaps and switches are all upgraded to give you the responsiveness and precision needed for gaming, typing and working.
Hot Swappable Custom Switches
When it comes to the feel and performance of switches, every detail counts. EPOMAKER EP87 features Gateron Pro Yellow switches and two EPOMAKER custom switches, Flamingo and Budgerigar. Factory pre-lubed for smooth travel straight out of the box, each switch features supreme material for consistency and durability. 5-pin/3-pin hot swappable PCB means you won’t need to solder it when replacing the switch.
Three Modes of Connectivity: Bluetooth 5.0 & 2.4GHz & Type-C Cable
Equipped with the large capacity battery, EP87 upgraded version supports wireless and wired connections. By the wireless option, either Bluetooth (up to 5.0) or 2.4GHz can be chosen, and the polling rate can be up to 1000hz with 2.4GHz. By the wired mode, macro can be programmed to better fit your typing habits. The modes can be easily switched by Fn+1/2/3(Bluetooth) / 4(2.4GHz) / 5(USB Wired).

The upgraded EP87 has been designed with a brand-new colorway, the ice cream keycaps that are inspired by summer sweet vibes. Now you can have it on your keyboard and touch it too! The gorgeous keycaps are printed on top of a high-quality PBT material with dye sublimation technique. This high quality keycap will withstand the wear and tear of daily gaming for years to come, not easy to fade away or being greasy.

The difference between this and my previous (Razer) keyboard is like night and day! The keys feel fantastic. It sounds great (I got the Flamingo Linear switches). I love the colors though I also purchased the ALOHAKB Brassica Rapa Keycaps to swap with. Those Keycaps fit my setup’s color scheme better but I almost don’t want to swap them out because of how pretty these are!!
The Keyboard is solid and functions are adequate for pro user.

I had my eye on this keyboard for months. I found other keyboards that I liked but I kept coming back to this one and decided to purchase it for myself as my christmas gift. I picked this keyboard because firstly, I am a mac user and I wanted something that would seamlessly connect to my mac - I really like that is has triple mode! Secondly, I wanted something similar to the size of my macbook pro keyboard and i'm glad that I picked this one! It is perfect. I love the colors. Overall I would definitely recommend this keyboard, especially for someone that is looking for their first mechanical keyboard. It took about 22 days to receive which is much faster than I expected!
