PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A Useful 65% Hot-Swap DIY Keyboard Kit

With built-in modularity for everything from connectivity to switches, the TH66 Kit from EPOAMKER is a DIY kit for those who like to change things up. The 60% layout offers both typing comfort and space consciousness, and the programmable metal rotary knob allows for extra control of your setup. There are three means of connectivity: Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4 GHz, and a USB-C wired output. Thanks to the hot-swappable sockets, it can accommodate a variety of switches, both 3 and 5-pin.

Triple Modes: Bluetooth 5.0/2.4GHz Wireless/Wired

More than being wireless, we make this kit in triple modes, that is to say, the efficient Bluetooth 5.0 technology and ultra-fast and stable 2.4GHz wireless, plus Type-C wired mode. Equipped with a 2200mAh battery, triple modes will be accommodating a variety occasions, such as on trips, at office and at home...no more bulky accessories and no more be bothered by terrible transmission.

Modified Gasket-like Structure & Foam Dampener

The TH66 kit comes neither a traditional gasket structure nor a typical sandwich mount. Instead, we adopts the gaskets on the edges of the bottom case as the main contact point, which is to bring soft tactile feelings and quieter sounds. On top of that, two layers of EVA sound dampening foam are fully utilized in the Epomaker TH66 keyboard kit.

Aluminum Programmable Metal Knob & Pre-lubed Stabilizer

An aluminum knob is equipped on the upper right of the keyboard. You can program the knob with any function that you want which will make daily use much interesting and convenient. In order to minimize the gap of typing feel and sound between the large and small keys, we have also improved the stabilizer quality and lubricated every stabilizer before packaging.

Amazing RGB Effects with South-Facing PCB

EPOMAKER TH66 DIY kit features a variety of default RGB effects that you can easily switch between each other with simple shortcuts. With south-facing LEDs, the RGB lights show more brightness and brings more fun for customization. More than that, compatible software is available for those who loves more DIY settings. You can make it your own effects with the software.

Note: The TH66's top row (F row) is designed with north-facing LEDs, other rows are with south-facing LEDs. This is not any defect, and we won't accept returns because of this reason.

This keyboard is great!

This keyboard sounds amazing and pretty quiet with the Pro Black switches that i chose. I had ideas to mod it or lube the switches, but there's no reason to. This sounds and feels amazing to use stock. The switches have pretty strong springs so it does take a little bit of pressure to fully press them down, but they activate around half way down so they are stil very fast. I wish that the software had a little more flexability with the RGB colors and layout, but I like keepig them off for the most part because i love the vintage of the keycaps. I highly recomend to everyone.

South Facing RGB led

Don't get me wrong, the quality of the keyboard is great. The most disappointing part was the RGB, because of the PCB the led is now at the bottom so all apart from numkey row are south facing and all but their rows keycaps wouldn't work

Amazing and Affordable

I absolutely love this kit and how customizable but simple and straight to the point it is. And the price is remarkable for how much weight it has. Only thing which is a bummer, is that the wire that charges the keyboard, doesn’t CONNECT the keyboard. So you have to plug in both the dongle and wire together, which is a problem if u have limited usb space on the pc or laptop you use. And the battery life could be better but you can just leave the wire in. Other than that, the application to customize it further is even better.

Holy shit its amazing but...

Its no news that the th66 is a great budget keyboard and one that i would recommend to most people trying to get into the hobby, and the pro kit is no exeption.
Although its a lot more expensive because u have to buy the switches and keycaps yourself, it feels more like you got exactly what you wanted because you are forced to choose those yourself.
And personally i dont mind paying the extra buck for it to feel more personalized, but if you want to cut down costs its better to buy the prebuild, and you can customize that one aswell later down the line.
